About 2,000 Russian tourists remained in Cuba after the hurricane
According to the Russian association of tourists, after the hurricane "Irma" in Cuba there are about 2000 thousand tourists from Russia. At the same time they are concentrated on the resorts of Varadero, Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa Maria. On Saturday, all the Russian tourists were evacuated from the resort islands of Cuba Cayo Coco and Cayo Santa Maria. The height of the waves off the coast of Cuba reached 9-10 meters and the ball announcement was an urgent evacuation. Home was sent not only to tourists from Russia, but also from other countries. Because of the hurricane, about 10 people died, several people were seriously injured. The amount of damage to the country's economy has not yet been reported. Previously, a hurricane hit the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the Caribbean island countries. The last country affected by the hurricane was America.
